This city is an undiscovered pearl in the south-west of the Netherlands. In 2022 we celebrate its 625th birthyear which stands for uninterupted hospitality. Restaurant 1397 is located in the historic center of Bergen op Zoom. The new name refers to 1397, the year in which De Draak certainly already existed. In this restaurant, the experience and culinary enjoyment are of utmost importance.

Since 16 June 2022, Grand Hotel De Draak has been entitled to the predicate Royal Warrant Holder in the Netherlands. "This is a dream come true for me," explains Frans Hazen. "I am proud that we have succeeded in bringing De Draak to where it is at the moment.
